On December 3, 2024, more than 140 California educators attended a cross-disciplinary conference at the Yolo County Office of Education (YCOE) focused on inquiry-based learning for Transitional Kindergarten / Pre-Kindergarten students in all curriculum areas. Sponsored by the California Subject Matter Project, in partnership with YCOE, the conference offered educators a space to gather and share ideas and resources. Participants discovered high quality, play-based, inquiry-centered learning tools for the TK/PK classroom, and connected with their local, regional, and statewide colleagues to support our state's youngest learners.
